Will Inglis is identified by peers as a top-notch expert witness with "immense experience" in forensic investigations.
Will Inglis is a senior managing director in FTI Consulting. He is based in Singapore and leads the firm's international arbitration practice in the Asia-Pacific region. Will has nearly 40 years of experience as a chartered accountant, has been appointed as an expert in over 100 matters, many of high value, and has testified on over 20 occasions.
Prior to joining FTI in 2015, Will was a partner in the forensic and dispute consulting practice of Deloitte in London for 23 years where he led the firm's European international arbitration practice. His earlier experience included the audit, tax and corporate finance departments and a two-year secondment to HM Treasury where he advised ministers and officials on financial and accounting matters.
In addition to expert appointments in litigation and commercial and investment treaty arbitration, Will has acted as an expert to two tribunals of United Nations Compensation Commissioners and in claims before the Iran-US Claims Tribunal. He has given oral evidence before courts or tribunals in England, Continental Europe, USA, Australia, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands.
Will has also been appointed as an arbitrator on three occasions, as an expert to an arbitral tribunal, and as an expert to determine disputes on between 12 and 15 occasions.
Will has also led several high-profile forensic investigation assignments, including investigations relating to the collapses of Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), Polly Peck, the Carrian Group, Banka Baltija and the Icelandic banks as well as numerous confidential assignments.
Will has an MA in law from Cambridge University and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
