Biography

Trevor is an exceptionally well qualified and experienced quantum expert. He is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 35 years' experience in construction and civil engineering. He specialises in the valuation of complex claims involving delay, disruption, variations, defective works and termination.

During the last 10 years, Trevor has been regularly appointed as an expert by clients, and is able to produce concise and persuasive reports. He has given evidence as an expert and has been cross-examined by lawyers at arbitration hearings. Trevor's expert witness commissions have included projects across the UK and Middle East.

Trevor's experience is extensive, having worked on projects in building, civil engineering, infrastructure, roads, rail, bridges, tunnelling, waste water treatment, utilities, marine, and oil and gas.

Trevor holds an LLM in construction law, a BSc (Hons) in building (engineering and management), a diploma in international arbitration and an advanced professional award in expert witness evidence.

Trevor is a practicing member of The Academy of Experts, a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, fellow of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has been appointed adjudicator on over 50 references and he is on the panel of adjudicators for the RICS, CIArb, CIC and ICE. He has been published on a number of occasions; recently as co-author of The Ontario and UK Adjudication Acts.
