Tobias Eggers focuses on international cases of corruption, AML and capital market-related offences. He has successfully defended board members and CEOs of some of the most prestigious companies in Germany (banks, automotive companies, public officials, etc).
He leads the practice group Compliance at Park and has wide experience in advising multinational companies on valid compliance measures. In 2019 he founded the SME expert commission (www.rat-mittelstandscompliance.de) . This group of university professors, CCOs, COs, members of the chamber of commerce and advisers carries out scientific research on adequate compliance measures for SMEs.
Tobias teaches criminal law and criminal compliance at Bielefeld University and is actively involved in the scientific discussion in his field (see list of publications at park-wstr.de).
He serves as an ombudsman for several corporations. He is a certified lawyer in criminal law.
Tobias is a member of the German Bar Association, the European Criminal Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Association of German Defence Lawyers and the Association on White-Collar Criminal Law.
