Biography

Tanja Luginbühl is an expert in insolvency and restructuring, private clients, and corporate and M&A. She has been involved in various national and cross-border insolvency and restructuring cases representing companies, banks and creditors. She leads the insolvency and restructuring group of Lenz & Staehelin in Zurich. In addition, she advises Swiss and foreign private clients regarding succession matters, international trust and estate planning and charity law. She has experience in handling trust matters and providing family office services. Also, she has an extensive expertise in aircraft lease and finance transactions.

Tanja Luginbühl completed a law degree at the University of Zurich in 1994 and obtained an LLM in corporations from New York University School of Law in 1999. She has been admitted to the Zurich Bar (1997). She joined Lenz & Staehelin in 1997 and has been a partner since 2005. She speaks German, English and French.

Tanja Luginbühl is a member of the following professional associations: the Swiss Bar Association (SAV), the Zurich Bar Association (ZAV), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Swiss Insolvency Association.
