Stefan Oesterhelt is a partner of Homburger AG, Zürich since 2012. Stefan Oesterhelt's practice focuses on domestic and international tax law matters, in particular those arising out of capital market transactions, finance transactions, funds, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and tax litigation.
Stefan Oesterhelt graduated from the University of Basel in 1999 (lic iur) and in 2005 he obtained his Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Cambridge. In 2001, he was admitted to the Swiss Bar followed by his certification as a tax expert in 2004. He is a lecturer on tax law at the University of St Gallen and regularly speaks at seminaries on tax law. Furthermore, he is responsible for the written tax expert exam in Switzerland.
