Stefan advises clients with respect to national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity and venture capital transactions. He represents and advises clients in the fields of corporate, partnership and commercial law.
He has gained broad experience in advising purchasers and sellers in national and international M&A transactions as well as investors and funds in venture capital investments and financing rounds, including the drafting and negotiating of term sheets, share and asset purchase agreements, investment and shareholder agreements, joint venture and merger agreements, and the coordination and undertaking of (cross-border) due diligence procedures. He also advises clients on all questions concerning restructuring of companies, with particular focus on corporate and insolvency law and corporate governance aspects.
Stefan was admitted to the Munich Bar in 2001. Before joining the firm in October 2003, he worked for the Munich office of Baker McKenzie. He is co-author of the handbook Steueroptimierter Unternehmenskauf published by Gabler Verlag.
