Scott Borene was conference chair of the first Global Immigration Summit, the largest conference of the world's leading business immigration lawyers, at the Waldorf Astoria in New York in 2002.
Mr Borene is a past director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and past co-chair of the International Bar Association (IBA) immigration committee. He is past vice chair of the American Bar Association (ABA), international law section, immigration committee. In 2000, he received a Presidential Commendation Award for setting a new standard in INS headquarters liaison.
