Dr Roland Fischer specialises in domestic and cross-border insolvency law, finance and restructurings. His practice includes in-court and out-of-court restructurings as well as a broad range of finance transactions, and he regularly advises clients on insolvency law matters.
Roland Fischer graduated in 2001 from the University of Zurich, where he also completed a doctoral thesis in 2009. He obtained an LLM in corporate law from New York University School of Law in 2007. He has been admitted to the Zurich Bar (2004). He joined Lenz & Staehelin in 2005 and has been a partner since 2015. He speaks German, English and French.
Roland Fischer is a member of the following professional association: the Zurich Bar Association (ZAV), the Swiss Bar Association (SAV), the Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Association, and the International Bar Association (IBA) (insolvency, restructuring and creditor's rights section).
