Chris King, partner at Redgrave LLP, has a demonstrated acumen in e-discovery-related matters and broad range of experience in matters involving both US discovery and international cross-border data transfer issues. Chris’ areas of concentration include securities litigation, director and officer fiduciary and shareholder litigation, antitrust litigation, and consumer fraud. As a seasoned attorney, Chris has handled discovery strategy in complex litigation and briefed and argued electronic discovery motions in dozens of federal and state court cases.

Chris’ experience spans multiple industries. He has represented clients in the insurance, banking, securities, manufacturing, retail, technology, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, energy and healthcare sectors, and has litigated class actions, multidistrict litigation and other types of complex litigation around the country. Chris regularly advises clients in matters of e-discovery, privacy, and data security, as well as information governance.

Chris is an active member of The Sedona Conference working group on electronic document retention and production (WG1) and the working group on data security and privacy liability (WG11). He is also co-chair of the steering committee of the Seventh Circuit electronic discovery pilot programme.

Chris is a sought-after speaker, panelist, and presenter as an authority on e-discovery and information governance Chris is ranked in Band 4 of Chambers and Partners’ annual national rankings in the field of litigation: e-discovery.

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Chris was a partner at Dentons where he founded and led the e-discovery and Information Governance practice for the US region. Chris was also clerk to Robert Murphy, chief judge at the Court of Appeals of Maryland.
