Dietrich Stiller is a partner of SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz, an independent German law firm with about 85 lawyers and with offices in Mannheim, Frankfurt am Main and Brussels. For almost a century, the firm has advised clients on nearly all areas of business law. The clients of the firm include leading industrial and trade enterprises, financial institutions, insurance companies and providers of other financial services as well as large family owned businesses and wealthy private clients.

Dietrich Stiller advises lenders, borrowers, sponsors and investors in the areas of banking and capital markets, privatisation, PPPs and cross-border investment law, including domestic and international project finance and BOT structures as well as in export finance, corporate finance and in refinancing of distressed enterprises. His experience with cross-border projects includes ECA cover for exports, untied loans and investments as well as dispute resolution (litigation, investment arbitration and commercial arbitration) and the mitigation or recovery of losses in case of expropriations or other measures tantamount to an expropriation.

He further advises lenders and corporates in relation to regulatory issues including eligibility of credit risk mitigation techniques or sanctions issues.

Dietrich has extensive experience in the sectors renewables, conventional power plants, oil and gas, construction of industrial facilities, airports and other traffic infrastructure, healthcare, telecommunications, exports and other industries. This includes domestic projects as well as cross-border matters in Europe, Asia, the CIS countries, Canada, Africa or other parts of the world.

Dietrich speaks German, English, Bahasa Indonesia and Korean fluently.
