Who's Who Legal Aviation: Contentious

Rodolfo graduated from Mother and Teacher Pontifical Catholic University (PUCMM) with a bachelor of laws degree in 1995 and received a master’s degree in business and economics legislation in 1999. He completed his international business law postgraduate degree at APEC University in 2000 and received a civil procedure postgraduate degree from PUCMM in 2002. In 2005, he received a diploma in international arbitration issued by the International Business Chamber, located in Paris, France. In 2010, he obtained a diploma in business at the University of Toronto. Rodolfo is set to receive a master’s in economic law at the University of Salamanca (thesis pending).

He has 22 years of experience in aviation law and air transport, including financing, regulatory and litigation. He also has extensive experience in corporate law, maritime law and commercial litigations.

Rodolfo is a partner at Mesa Abogados, a law firm founded in 1964 that specialises in transport and corporate law.

He has major domestic and international airlines, lessors, insurance and reinsurance companies, aircraft maintenance workshops and other air transport service providers as regular clients.

Rodolfo is fluent in Spanish and English, with proficiency in French.

For four consecutive years, he has been ranked by Chambers and Partners as a leading lawyer in commercial and corporate law in the Dominican Republic.
