Armando Arias is the regional managing partner of the firm and specialises in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, international commerce and contracting, banking law, fiscal planning and project finance. He is a former professor of commercial law at José Matías Delgado University, El Salvador. He is admitted as higher member of the Inter-American Bar Association. He is past president of both the American Chamber of Commerce of El Salvador and the Salvadoran Banking Association.

He has a doctorate degree from El Salvador University and studied economics at José Simeón Cañas Central American University. He attended the programme of instruction for lawyers at Harvard University and courses on executive education (finance) at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
