Who's Who Legal Labour, Employment & Benefits

Stein Kimsås-Otterbech heads Thommessen's employment and labour law practice. The practice group includes the pensions and benefits team and the internal investigation and data privacy teams.

Stein has extensive experience within these areas and provides advice to Norwegian and international businesses on all aspects of employment and labour law, including workforce reductions, outsourcing, transfer of undertakings and collective labour law matters. Stein is an expert in pensions law and all aspects of executive remuneration, including stock options schemes and other incentive models.

Thommessen is involved in the majority of large transactions and IPOs in the Norwegian market, and the firm's employment practice plays an important role in advising on all employment aspects in the transactions. 

Stein is highly ranked among his peers and recognised in various international publications, including Chambers Europe and The Legal 500. He has extensive litigation experience and spent four years as deputy judge before joining Thommessen.

Stein speaks at conferences, both on national and international levels, and holds regular seminars.
