Oscar is partner at Consortium Legal – El Salvador. With 16 years of experience; he has an extensive experience in banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and conflict resolution and transactions with multiple jurisdictions. He has recently participated as a leading lawyer in the granting of financing by Credit Suisse to Imperia Intercontinental INC for the acquisition of Citibank shares in El Salvador.

He has a great international experience, having worked as an international associate at King & Spalding LLP in Washington, DC. In addition, he led the acquisition of AIG’s operations in El Salvador by Panamanian insurance company ASSA and the sale of Finca Microfinanzas El Salvador to Optima Servicios Financieros.

Oscar has an LLM in international arbitration (with honors) from the University of Pepperdine, United States (2009), he studied the American legal system at the school of law of University of Columbia, United States (2006) and received a degree in legal science (honourable mention) from José Simeón Cañas Central American University, El Salvador (2005).

He speaks Spanish and English.
