Aníbal Galindo joined Alemán, Cordero, Galindo & Lee in 1985 as one of its founding partners. Before this, he worked at law firm Rosas & Rosas (1982–1985) and Banco Latinoamericano de Exportaciones SA (Bladex) (1978–1982). Since joining Alcogal, Mr Galindo’s professional practice has concentrated on corporate and M&A, real estate, banking, finance and capital markets, maritime and port facilities and tax law.

Mr Galindo has advised Panamanian and international clients with their most pressing corporate needs, including: Ideal Living, Corp in connection with the master plan and development of Panama City’s largest and most exclusive mixed golf and residential development; First Quantum Minerals Ltd on its estimated US$5.1 billion acquisition of Toronto-based Inmet Mining Corp, which owns Minera Panama SA; Ingenieros Civiles Asociados (ICA) with all matters related to the construction of a ring road around Panama City; and Evergreen International in regards to all its shipping and ports needs in Panama.

Mr Galindo has served in the board of directors of the National Banking Commission and the National Savings Bank.

Mr Galindo has a master of laws (LLM) from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana (1979), and a Bachelor of Law and Political Science from the University of Panama (1978).

He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama, the Inter-Pacific Bar Association and the Banking Law Institute. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
