Frank Gerhard focuses on public and private M&A transactions, private equity, capital markets (including IPOs and innovative structures) and other financings. He advises on corporate law and securities regulations.

Recent transactions include assisting Clariant in the merger of equals with Huntsman, the defence against activist White Tale and the combination of its high performance materials business with Sabic; gategroup in the public takeover by HNA; Bank Hapoalim in the sale of a majority of its international private banking business to J Safra Sarasin; RBS in the sale of its international private banking business (Coutts Ltd) to Union Bancaire Privée; Dufry in its acquisitions of World Duty Free and The Nuance Group; the underwriters in the IPO of CEVA Logistics on the SIX Stock Exchange and in the IPO of Leonteq AG on the SIX Stock Exchange.
