Gregor Bühler is deputy head of both the Homburger IP/IT and the litigation/arbitration team. Moreover, he is co-head of the employment law and executive compensation team. Gregor Bühler graduated from the University of St Gall in 1990 (lic iur) and received his doctorate in 1995 (summa cum laude). In 1997, he earned an LLM degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Gregor Bühler advises on a broad range of intellectual property, IT, privacy and employment law matters, acting for both domestic and international clients. Gregor Bühler is especially experienced in transactional IP work including technology agreements and all types of licensing and distribution agreements. He also acts as a counsel in numerous large proceedings before Swiss state courts, in particular before the commercial courts and the Swiss Federal Patent court.

Gregor Bühler is senior vice-chair of the intellectual property and entertainment law committee of the IBA. He is a member of AIPPI, ASA (Swiss Arbitration Association), INGRES (Institute of Industrial Property), SF (Swiss Forum for Communication Law) and LES (Licensing Executives Society).

Gregor Bühler regularly publishes and lectures in his areas of expertise. He is also a co-editor of Stämpfli Handkommentar, a commentary on Swiss trademark law, in which he has commented on the provisions on trademark transfer and licensing.
