He also represents senior executives of a global spirits company in a SEC/DOJ FCPA probe, the former CEO of a multi-billion dollar public issuer in an FCPA review, an individual in a healthcare fraud investigation by three federal districts, the former chief diesel engineer of Audi in a DOJ review, and various individuals in numerous SEC investigations and complaints alleging securities fraud.

Steve is a lecturer on criminal law and procedure to bar associations, and state and federal law enforcement agencies. He has been lead chair on approximately two hundred jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. He also is a professor at the University of Virginia National Trial Advocacy Institute.
