Who's Who Legal Switzerland - Labour & Employment

Vincent Carron is a partner in Schellenberg Wittmer's Geneva office, where he heads the employment law group. He has extensive experience representing clients before the labour courts and advising them on all employment law matters, including drafting and reviewing of employment documentation, unilateral and collective dismissals, business transfers, structure of severance payments, aspects of international employee transfers, international social security coordination, lease of services, restructuring of remuneration and bonus schemes, working time recording and employers' liability. Vincent also advises clients in matters related to pension funds covering both litigation and corporate aspects.

Vincent regularly publishes within his fields of specialisation. He is a member of the EELA and president of the West Switzerland Association of Employment Law Specialists. Vincent is part of the exam committee in charge of the Geneva labour court judges' exams and has been teaching them on aspects of Swiss employment law.

Prior to joining Schellenberg Wittmer in 2002, Vincent worked as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Fribourg, where he graduated from the School of Law in 1998 (summa cum laude). Vincent additionally studied at New York University where he was granted the AT Vanderbilt scholar full scholarship and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2007. In 2008, Vincent became an SBA-certified specialist in employment law.
