Lorenzo Olgiati heads Schellenberg Wittmer's mergers and acquisitions group in Zurich. His practice focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, securities and stock exchange regulation, private equity transactions and other significant corporate and commercial matters, including advice on corporate governance matters and shareholder activism.

Lorenzo is a frequent author and speaker on legal developments affecting Swiss corporate, M&A and capital markets laws, and is a co-editor of takeoverpractice.ch, Schellenberg Wittmer's innovative website on Swiss takeover law. He is a lecturer in the University of Zurich's LLM programme on international banking and finance law. Lorenzo Olgiati heads Schellenberg Wittmer’s M&A group in Zurich. - Counsel to SIX Group AG and SIX Payment Services AG, Zurich, in the acquisition of Aduno SA, a Swiss company active in the acquiring and terminal business (card acceptance and processing);

- Counsel to the Canton of Graubünden and Axpo Holding AG, main shareholders in SIX-listed electric power company Repower AG in connection with Repower's strategic repositioning, delisting and 170 million Swiss francs capital increase subscribed by EKZ and UBS-CEIS;

- Swiss counsel to SIX-listed ams AG in its acquisition of Heptagon Advanced Micro-Optics Pte Ltd, Singapore for up to US$855 million in cash and newly issued shares.
