Jean-Blaise Eckert is considered a leading lawyer in tax and private client matters in Switzerland. He is the co-head of the tax group of Lenz & Staehelin. He advises a number of multinational groups of companies as well as HNWIs.

Jean-Blaise Eckert is a frequent speaker at professional conferences on tax matters. He also teaches on the master’s programme of the University of Neuchâtel. He is secretary general of the IFA as well as member of the Swiss Committee of the IFA.

Jean-Blaise Eckert studied law at the University of Neuchâtel and was admitted to the Bar of Neuchâtel (1989) and the Bar of Geneva (1991). He acquired an MBA at Berkeley, Haas Business School (1991), a diploma as a certified tax expert (1994) and a diploma as a certified specialist SBA in inheritance law (2016). He joined Lenz & Staehelin in 1991 and has been a partner since 1999. He speaks French, English, German.
