Paulo qualified as a lawyer at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Prior to his current role, he worked at Aninat y Schwenke & Cía, where he was the partner in charge of the firm’s dispute resolution team. Paulo has broad and widely acclaimed experience as disputes resolution lawyer, and has advised government and private companies in complex local and international cases. His practice is focused on litigation and arbitration, working mainly on civil, commercial, administrative and infrastructure matters.
He has published several articles and has taught various classes and exhibitions in subjects of his speciality. His professorships include teaching procedural law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile; the diploma in construction law at the Pontifical Catholic University (2018); law at the Judicial Academy (2019); and training courses for lawyers at the Judicial Assistance Corporation. In 2010 he was appointed arbitrator judge at the Judicial Power of Chile.
