Paul Walter is a standout practitioner for his expertise on complex competition issues, as well as for his top-notch advice on business development initiatives.
Paul has advised on a broad range of competition law matters from the firm’s London and Brussels offices. He has represented clients in front of the UK competition authorities, the European Commission and other competition regulators; and on appeal to the European courts.
Since 2012, he has been a special adviser in the competition group, principally focusing on marketing and business development activities for Slaughter and May and its European Best Friend firms. He is currently seconded to the Barcelona office of Uría Menéndez.
Paul has published numerous articles on competition law and is the co-author of the UK and EU chapters of The Cartels & Leniency Review and the UK chapter of The Merger Control Review.
