Nikki is the partner-in-charge at Clayton Utz's Sydney office in Australia. She is also a skilled real estate partner with over 22 years' experience advising on property law, urban renewal and infrastructure projects. Nikki has worked on some of the largest property developments in Australia including Docklands (Melbourne), Barangaroo in Sydney (A$15 billion) and Parramatta Square (A$2.7 billion). Nikki advises on all aspects of property-related matters, including affordable and social housing projects (advising both government and community housing providers) and build-to-rent developments. Her expertise in large-scale urban renewal and precinct developments includes providing advice on governance and project structuring ensuring commercial and practical outcomes for all stakeholders. Nikki's clients comprise of public sector and ASX200 organisations including land owners, fund managers and developers.
Known for her hands-on and commercial approach, Nikki has earned a reputation as a leading property lawyer in Australia. She is consistently ranked in the top band of legal directories including Chambers, The Legal 500, Doyle’s Guide and Best Lawyers Australia. Nikki has twice won the Lawyers Weekly Real Estate Partner of the Year award, and has also been named one of Griffith University’s Alumni of the Year. She is broadly involved in the property sector through the Urban Development Institute of Australia, the Committee for Sydney, the Property Council of Australia's “500 women in property” programme, and the Law Society of New South Wales.
