Nigel Parr chairs the global Ashurst competition and antitrust practice. He specialises in all aspects of UK and EU competition law, including mergers; strategic business advice and competition risk management; cartel and abuse of dominance cases; market/sector investigations; appeals; and competition litigation. He has practised EU and UK competition law for almost 30 years, and has advised on more than 40 UK/EU Phase II merger cases and market investigations. He has particular expertise in cartel and abuse of dominance investigations and appeals to the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, European General Court and European Court of Justice, together with judicial review applications to the UK Administrative Court. He is listed in the top tier of the Chambers and The Legal 500 directories for competition law and competition litigation.
