Nicolas Barsalou is a founding partner of Accuracy. Before that, he was a partner at Ernst & Young (ex-Arthur Andersen), a firm he joined in 1998 after several years in two corporations, in which he acquired a broad range of financial and accounting skills.
With 30 years' experience in corporate finance, he specialises in complex litigation and arbitration cases conducted in an international environment. He has significant experience in construction, energy, software, luxury goods, retail, manufacturing and professional services. He also leads Accuracy's global real estate practice.
He has been appointed many times as an expert witness in High Court litigations and international arbitrations (ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, SIAC, ad hoc arbitration), dealing with the investigation and quantification of damages resulting from commercial, construction, post-M&A and accounting disputes. He has given oral evidence on more than 20 occasions, both in English and in French, for cases in the real estate, oil and gas, chemicals, retail, utilities and manufacturing industries.
Nicolas Barsalou is Accuracy's expert dedicated to complex accounting issues. He also performs transaction advisory and valuation engagements on a regular basis, mostly for large listed international corporations. With a truly international profile, he monitors a major part of Accuracy's geographical expansion, in particular in Asia, and has successfully led engagements on all continents. He graduated from HEC Paris in 1989 and holds a master's degree in accounting (DESCF).
