With over 10 years of experience in the field of complex dispute resolution, Natascha was commended by WWL 2018 for her “outstanding expertise in arbitration”. She successfully practises as arbitrator and arbitration counsel under the major arbitral rules. Her focus lies in commercial disputes and covers a wide array of industries, including new technologies, life sciences, energy, engineering, and intellectual property.
Qualified as meditator since 2005, Natascha is equally adept as mediation counsel and a highly skilled negotiator. Natascha’s profound knowledge of procedural law is based a strong academic background as fulltime assistant lecturer and researcher for civil procedure, ADR and insolvency law at the University of Vienna. In 2015, Natascha was appointed to the steering committee that drafted the VIAC Mediation Rules and has recently been invited to serve as member of the VIAC mediation advisory board. She is currently co‑chair of the working group of the IBA-VIAC CDRC mediation and negotiation competition, and contributes to the ICC international commercial mediation competition as expert assessor.
