Michael Reinle is partner and member of MLL's IT, Data Privacy & E-Commerce as well as IP practice groups. He has sound experience in advising clients in the software and IT, life sciences, financial, telecom, and data analytics industry. He regularly advises clients in software development and licensing, as well as cloud computing, SaaS, IoT, and other ICT-related projects. Data protection (both under Swiss law and in relation to the EU GDPR), technology-related compliance issues, and ICT dispute resolution are additional areas of strength.
Last year he was particularly active in technology-related transactions, including financing series in startups. Recent examples of Michael's expertise include advising Zalando SE, Europe’s leading online platform for fashion and lifestyle, in the acquisition of Zurich based start-up Fision AG and advising Swisscom Ventures in its CHF 20 Mio. Series A financing round in ANYbotics AG, a leading maker of four-legged robots. Furthermore, he focused on data privacy and IT advice in the finance and banking industry. Michael also has strong experience in advising clients with regard to the protection of IP and IP-related rights in the context of the digital economy. In addition, he has broad experience in advising clients in e-commerce and advertising projects.

Michael was member of various AIPPI national study groups, such as the study group on intellectual property rights and license contracts in bankruptcy and reorganization proceedings as well as in the one on copyright in artificially generated works. Furthermore, he regularly acts as a speaker in his fields of expertise.
