Dr Michael Lazopoulos is a partner at Lustenberger Rechtsanwälte KLG, a leading Swiss dispute resolution boutique with a special focus on the Asia-Pacific market. His practice focuses on international litigation and arbitration. He advises and represents Swiss and international clients before Swiss courts and arbitral tribunals in a wide range of commercial disputes. Michael Lazopoulos is also regularly appointed as arbitrator.
He has particular experience in disputes relating to international sales, M&A, joint ventures, shareholders' agreements, financial services, construction projects, telecommunication, commodities trading, aviation, transportation, supply of goods, agency and distribution. He further regularly represents parties in enforcement, setting aside and civil attachment proceedings before Swiss cantonal courts and the Swiss Federal Supreme Court, as well as legal assistance matters.
Michael Lazopoulos studied law at the University of Zurich (lic iur 2000; Dr iur 2004, magna cum laude) and holds an LLM degree (with distinction) from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.
