Michael Feit is partner at Walder Wyss. He specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration. He has extensive experience in representing parties in complex arbitration disputes under all major arbitration rules (including ICC, LCIA and Swiss rules) and in ad hoc proceedings, and also sits as an arbitrator (ICC, ICSID, Swiss rules). His practice encompasses a broad range of industries, such as healthcare, construction, aviation, telecommunication, renewable energy and post-M&A disputes. Michael Feit has published numerous articles on commercial and investment arbitration, including about 100 reports on arbitration decisions of the Swiss Federal Supreme Court. He has also acted as a peer reviewer for the ICSID Review – Foreign Investment Law Journal. Michael Feit is frequently invited to speak at arbitration conferences and lectured on investment arbitration at the 2017 Summer Law School for International Investment Law organised by the Athens Public International Law Centre and ELSA Athens.

Michael Feit studied at the University of Zurich (lic iur 1999, magna cum laude; Dr iur 2007, summa cum laude; award for excellent achievements in business law) and New York University (LLM 2009, Dean's Graduate Award Scholar). He worked as a court law clerk, as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Zurich and as a senior associate in the international arbitration practice group of a major law firm in London.

Michael Feit practises in English and German, and also speaks French and Hebrew. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practise throughout Switzerland.
