Martijn van Hall is founder and partner of Van Hall Advocaten (2006), a Dutch boutique employment law firm. The firm is initiator and co-founder of Innangard, an international employment law alliance. Martijn is also an independent mediator.
Martijn graduated from the University of Utrecht (1993). Between 1993 and 2005 he worked as an employment law lawyer at CMS. He holds a specialist postgraduate diploma in employment law from Grotius Academy (2002). He speaks Dutch and English fluently, and he also speaks German.
Martijn practises in all areas of employment law with a focus on medium-sized and large domestic and international companies, as well as senior executives. He has a particularly eminent reputation for assisting companies on employment law matters, and advising on mergers, acquisitions and restructuring; the drafting/changing of companies’ collective agreements; and the hire and dismissal of senior executives.
With over 25 years of experience, Martijn is a true out-of-the-box thinker in all aspects of employment law. He is driven and decisive with an amiable personality, and a born networker who is effective in finding the best solutions in every situation.
Martijn is a member of the American Bar Association (labour and employment law section); the European Employment Lawyers Association; the Dutch Bar Association; the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association; the Dutch Employment Law Association; the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association; the Federation of Dutch mediators; and the Utrecht Entrepreneurial Society. Martijn is also chair of the Galgenwaard Business Association.
