Mahesh is director at Drew & Napier LLC, the most celebrated dispute resolution practice in Singapore. Mahesh has an active practice as counsel in complex civil and commercial litigation and high stakes international arbitrations under various rules including ICC, SIAC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and VIAC.
Mahesh represents individuals and corporations in a broad spectrum of matters including fraud, investigations, oppression claims, joint venture disputes and criminal proceedings. He also advises on corporate governance, regulatory and compliance issues. He has handled disputes spanning many sectors including information technology, telecommunications, oil and gas, shipping, construction and commodities.
Mahesh was placed on the Supreme Court’s Young Amicus Curiae list in 2014. He has appeared as amicus curiae in a High Court case where he addressed the High Court on novel points of law in an appeal involving money laundering.
Mahesh has been identified by Asian Legal Business (2018) as one of 40 bright young stars in the region under 40. He is also recognised as an eminent young lawyer by Who’s Who Legal, Asialaw and Global Arbitration Review.
In recognition of Mahesh’s standing as an arbitration practitioner, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) appointed him as the regional representative for the Young Arbitrators Forum (2017–2019).
In 2012, he received an Excellence in Advocacy Award from the Singapore International Arbitration Academy.
