Biography

Magnus Eriksson is a partner in Kastell’s dispute resolution group.

He has extensive experience of representing clients in contentious commercial matters. Magnus has been involved in a number of large-scale litigation and arbitration matters for both domestic and international clients. He has been conducting litigation at all levels. Since he joined Kastell, he has appeared before the Supreme Court in three separate cases.

Magnus’s experience covers many industrial sectors, including public transportation, telecoms, energy and pharmaceuticals, as well as a variety of areas of law, including procedural law, general contract law and tort law.

Magnus sits as arbitrator in ICC, SCC and ad-hoc arbitrations. He regularly gives lectures, inter alia, at Stockholm University in procedural law and contract law. Before taking on the role as counsel in 2001, Magnus served as a judge at the Svea Court of Appeal and the City Court of Stockholm, as well as a legal advisor at the Department of Justice.
