Luiz Carlos Aceti is a lawyer and post-graduate law professor, specialised in environmental business law, environmental/agricultural law, labour and employment law, mining law, energy law, healthcare law and agricultural defence. He has a postgraduate degree in business law, and a master’s degree in international law with an emphasis on environmental and human rights law.
Luiz is director of the Aceti Advocacia office, founded in October 1993. He advises clients on environmental business issues, both administrative (before technical bodies) and judicial (in civil, criminal and/or labour cases).
He gives lectures and training for public and private companies, and has written several books and technical articles.
In his pro bono work, he is on the board of the Environmental Market Portal (www.mercadoambiental.com.br) and is the legal coordinator of the Brazilian Association of Professionals for Sustainable Development (http://abraps.org.br/), a body that focuses on environmental education and organises relevant courses, and carries out social and environmental research.
