Louise Lutz Sciamanna is an experienced senior associate in the private clients group of CMS von Erlach Poncet, a leading law firm in Switzerland.
Louise is a certified specialist (SBA) in inheritance law and specialises in domestic and in cross-border estate and succession planning, and estate administration (executorship). She advises private clients on marital property agreements, wills, succession pacts, charitable foundations and trusts. She also represents clients in complex inheritance disputes and acts as counsel before Swiss courts. Louise further advises clients on living wills and powers of attorney for cases of legal incapacity under the Swiss adult protection laws as well as in international settings.
Louise has been practising as a lawyer since 2009. Before joining CMS in 2015, she worked for several years as an associate in the private clients group of a major business law firm in Zurich and as a senior inheritance consultant in a Swiss bank. Louise gained further professional experience as a law clerk at the District Court of Zurich. In 2012, Louise completed her postgraduate education with a LLM degree (with distinction) at King's College London with a focus on estate and tax planning and international inheritance and trust law. She was awarded the Dickson Poon School of Law Prize for best student on the LLM in international business and commercial law.
Louise is a member of several professional associations, including the Swiss Bar Association and the Zurich Bar Association. She is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences in her field of specialisation.
