Laura is a partner of Accuracy, based in Madrid.
She is an infrastructure and energy specialist with over 15 years’ experience.
Laura has advised banks, corporations, institutional investors, governments and multilateral agencies in the structuring, financing, development and acquisition over 50 major infrastructure PPP/concession projects with investment budgets over US$6 billion in 25 countries worldwide.
Laura has worked as an independent expert in the quantification of financial damages in over 30 investor-state and commercial arbitration cases involving large transport, water, renewable and conventional energy projects worldwide, usually in the context of disputes arising from contractual breaches, regulation changes and construction overruns, among other causes.
She has worked on cases in ICC, ICSID, SCC, ICDR and SIAC arbitration forums and before the Spanish Court, and has also acted as judge-appointed expert.
She holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from UAX Madrid and an executive MBA from ESIC Business School.
Laura is a registered forensic engineer in Spain. She is a founding member of the Spanish branch of the Society of Construction Law, and a member of the Society of Construction Law in England.
