José Rosell has extensive experience in international arbitration. He has been involved in more than 150 arbitration cases. José Rosell has acted as counsel for several state-owned institutions, banks and multinational companies in several international arbitration proceedings. In addition, he has been serving as an arbitrator in numerous international institutional and ad hoc arbitrations. He has arbitrated on matters relating to energy projects, acquisitions, construction, finance, telecommunications and investment disputes.
José Rosell is able to conduct arbitrations in English, French and Spanish. He is on the panel of major international arbitration institutions and is a member of the arbitration commission of the ICC.
He has been actively involved in the drafting of several institutional arbitration rules and was a member of the ICCA – Queen Mary University task force on third-party funding.
José Rosell has written various publications on international arbitration and has participated as a speaker at numerous international conferences. He lectures at several universities.
