Joakim Wihlsson is a partner of the intellectual property law firm Brann. Joakim has been active in IP since 1992, as a patent examiner, in industry and in private practice.

He holds an MSc in applied physics and electrical engineering, and his practice spans a very broad spectrum with respect to legal matters, technologies and businesses.

Joakim advises clients ranging from multinational corporations to individuals within the fields of computer science and internet-related technology; telecommunications; radio and radar technology; welding technology; electronics; optoelectronics; optics; physics; mechanics; medical technology; automotive; and space engineering.

He is an authorised Swedish patent attorney; and a European patent, trademark and design attorney. He holds a CEIPI diploma on patent litigation in Europe, and is appointed as a technical expert before both levels of the Patent and Market Courts in Sweden.
