Jason is the principal of Jason Teoh & Partners, a boutique Malaysian law firm with focused practices in international trade and civil litigation.
Realising that his clients’ unique individual economic situations have a major impact on the outcome of trade defence investigations, Jason takes time to understand his clients’ businesses and products under investigation to maximise their chances of winning. Jason’s experience includes assisting trade associations, importers and exporters in anti-dumping, safeguards and countervailing investigations initiated in Malaysia, Australia, Turkey, India, the US and the EU. Jason has acted as counsel to litigants in judicial review proceedings of trade remedy cases in the Malaysian High Court.
Jason is a team player and leverages on his global network of peers, professionals and experts in assisting his clients. In recent months, he collaborated with trade lawyers from China, Vietnam, Korea, India and Australia in inbound and outbound anti-dumping, safeguards and countervailing investigations.
Jason also maintains an active dispute resolution practice and has appeared as counsel or co-counsel before all levels of courts in Malaysia in a wide variety of legal disputes.
Jason is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese and Hokkien.
