Gion Giger is a managing associate in the information technology, intellectual property and competition team. His preferred areas of practice include competition law, distribution law, litigation before courts and administrative bodies, contract, corporate and commercial law as well as legal aspects of information technology. Gion Giger is a lecturer at the University of Zurich.
Gion Giger was educated at the University of Berne (lic iur 1999), the University of Zurich (Dr iur 2003) and King’s College London (LLM in competition law 2009). He has working experience as a research assistant at the Universities of Berne and Zurich, as a trainee with Walder Wyss and as a law clerk at the District Court of Horgen.
Gion Giger speaks German, English, French, Italian and Romansh. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland. Gion Giger is a member of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht eV and of the competition law group of the Zurich Bar Association.
