With over 16 years of experience in cybersecurity, digital forensics, e-discovery and litigation support, Gino has led a broad range of matters including regulatory investigations, high stakes investigations into data leakage, cross-border disputes, Royal Commissions, bribery and corruption, incident response, Cyber Risk and Posture Reviews, class actions, white collar crime, and other employee-related misconduct.
Gino has extensive experience across a range of sectors, including financial services, insurance, technology, health, construction, manufacturing, and retail. He has assisted in multi-regulator investigations utilising advanced analytics, has been appointed by financial institutions as digital forensics expert in large government inquiries, advised on large-scale IP theft for multinationals involving search warrants (seizing hundreds of computers across multiple sites) and submission of expert witness reports, assisted multinationals for forensic collection and analysis of devices spanning many countries and involving bribery and corruption, assisted in investigations into the exit of hundreds of directors and employees to competitors to identify collusion, contract breach and IP theft, advised on cyber-risk reviews and table-top training of management, and incident response for government, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing organisations regarding ransomware and data breaches.
A member of the ISFCE and HTCIA (1st vice president), Gino has held government security clearances and has completed postgraduate, undergraduate and formal industry training in digital forensics. Gino has guest-lectured at the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and Melbourne University and authored forensic policies for government.
