Francis Nordmann is partner in the banking and finance team of Walder Wyss Ltd, one of Switzerland's leading law firms, as well as its real estate practice.

He advises institutional and private investors on all aspects of real estate law, including real estate financing. Another focus is legal advice relating to financial services and corporate finance (including structured finance). Moreover, Mr Nordmann advises clients on banking law, stock exchange law and corporate law matters, including restructuring. He also advises private clients.

Born in 1969, Mr Nordmann was educated at Zurich and Basel University (lic, oec, publ, 1993; lic iur, 1995; Dr iur 1996) and at the University of Melbourne (LLM, 1999). Before joining Walder Wyss in 2001, he gained work experience as a clerk at the civil court in Basel, a trainee in a Basel law firm and an associate in Zurich and London law firms. Mr Nordmann is member of RICS.

He is recognised as a leading real estate practitioner by various organisations. He speaks German, English, French and Hebrew, and is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practise in all regions of Switzerland.
