Fernando Montano gains recognition for his work advising domestic and multinational companies on sophisticated antitrust issues.
Fernando joined the firm in 2006 and has participated in diverse civil and commercial lawsuits and arbitration procedures, in which the firm has represented the interests of major national and international companies. He has also participated in various settlement agreements. He provides corporate advice to national and international companies in competition and antitrust matters, as well as in a range of commercial, labour and other regulatory matters.
During 2010 he undertook an internship in the areas of litigation and intellectual property at a prestigious law firm based in Madrid, Spain.
Fernando has a master’s degree in international legal practice from the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE) in Madrid, Spain; and a law degree from the José Matías Delgado University in El Salvador. He is authorised as a practising attorney and notary public by the Supreme Court of Justice of El Salvador.
