Eva Storskrubb is a dispute resolution counsel with extensive experience of international arbitration proceedings – ad hoc, UNCITRAL and institutional (ICC, LCIA, SCC, FAI) – and complex cross-border litigation matters, in particular arbitration-related litigation such as interim relief, challenge and enforcement proceedings in domestic courts. She has also acted as counsel in emergency arbitration proceeding under the SCC Rules. In addition, she has acted in proceedings before EU institutions. Storskrubb worked as counsel in London and Helsinki before moving to Stockholm. She has advised clients in various industries including banking, engineering, mining, construction, energy, infrastructure and IT. Storskrubb is also an internationally recognised specialist in EU procedural law and holds a doctorate from the European University Institute in Florence. She lectures and publishes regularly in the field. Since 2014, she has served as a member of the ELI/Unidroit project on European Rules on Civil Procedure. In 2016 she was appointed associate professor (docent) of procedural law by Uppsala University (Sweden). She was a board member of the Law Society of Finland for many years, and is a current member of the expert group on civil procedure of the Finnish Bar Association. She is a member of the ICC Commission and acted for three years as member of the ICC YAF regional coordinating committee for Europe.
