Emily is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has been working as an accountant since 1998. Before specialising in disputes work, Emily gained broad accounting experience including audit, investigations, monitoring trading desk risk, management accounts and corporate tax. She spent six years at a Big Four firm within the financial services sector, five years in product control at a top bank, and three years in finance within local government.
In 2011, Emily decided to specialise in forensic accounting. Since then, she has gained experience of disputes across a wide range of industries including mining, power generation, textiles, telecommunications, IT and hotels. She has supported the accounting expert on contractual disputes, investment treaty arbitrations and disputes arising out of transactions and valuations. Emily joined Haberman Ilett on its formation in September 2013.
Emily has a mathematics degree from the University of Warwick.
