Don K Mun is a US-licensed senior foreign attorney of Yoon & Yang LLC in Seoul, Korea, and a member of the firm’s international practice group. Mr Mun has been practising in Korea for over 16 years, advising international clients on all aspects of their Korean business. In particular, he has extensive experience in representing clients in employment and HR matters and employment disputes in the USA and Korea. In addition to his expertise in labour and employment, he also focuses on corporate transactional work, including inbound foreign direct investment, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Mr Mun has recently represented and advised Swissport International and Johnson Controls with respect to laying off employees and management in their respective Korean subsidiaries.
Mr Mun is also the co-author of the Korea Chapter of The Employment Law Review (2014-2017). He graduated from University of California, Berkeley (BA in legal studies, 1990); and Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (JD, 1993). Don K Mun is a member of the California Bar.
