Devika Khanna is a partner in Clyde & Co’s international arbitration group, based between Athens and London. She has extensive dispute resolution experience developed over the past 18 years in private practice, as counsel and as arbitrator, involving both private and state parties, under all of the major arbitral rules.
Devika has particular experience in energy, construction, mining, pharmaceutical and telecoms disputes, and has considerable specialist expertise in gas price review arbitrations (in Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean region and Asia) and production sharing agreement disputes.
She conducts both commercial and investment treaty cases, advising multinationals, IOCs, NOCs and sovereign states.
Devika is an English-qualified solicitor-advocate with higher rights of audience. She is a regular contributor to legal journals and arbitration texts (including the “England” chapter in the Oxford University Press’s Practitioner’s Handbook on International Commercial Arbitration).
She speaks English (native), Greek, French and Italian.
Devika previously trained and practised at Slaughter and May and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London. She is a graduate of Oxford University with postgraduate degrees from the EUI, Florence and Queen Mary, University of London.
