David Weinstein is an expert in environmental litigation and acts for clients from a range of sectors in high-stakes environmental crime and enforcement proceedings.
David Weinstein, chair of Greenberg Traurig's environmental and toxic tort litigation practice, has an active civil and white-collar litigation practice with an emphasis on environmental, toxic tort, business, real estate, healthcare and other challenging matters.
David represents clients in class actions, mass torts, and other complex litigation. He also represents organisations and individuals in federal, state, and local white-collar criminal investigations. He has significant "first-chair" trial experience in jury and non-jury trials.
David has authored over two dozen chapters, articles, and papers on environmental and business issues, and regularly presents for the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and other professional organisations. He is the former chair, and current at-large vice chair, of the ABA's section of environment, energy, and resources environmental enforcement and crimes committee, and the co-chair of the ABA's environmental litigation civil and criminal litigation enforcement subcommittee.
