Daryl Chew is a partner in Shearman & Sterling's international arbitration practice and Head of the firm's Singapore office.
He advises and represents clients in arbitrations conducted under all major arbitration rules. These involve a wide range of applicable laws and venues, arising from energy (oil and gas, nuclear and renewables), construction (infrastructure, shipbuilding, power, industrial and petrochemical plants), M&A, joint venture, shareholder and general commercial disputes.
Daryl also serves as presiding arbitrator, co-arbitrator and sole arbitrator in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations.

Prior to joining Shearman & Sterling, Daryl served as a Justices' Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Singapore, clerking for the Chief Justice, justices of appeal and judges of the High Court.
