KSB managing partner Dagmar Dubecká is the head of the corporate/M&A group at KSB and has been recognised for many years as one of the leading corporate, restructuring and M&A lawyers in the Czech Republic. Dagmar has been named four times as one of the most significant businesswomen in the Czech Republic in the prestigious Top 25 Women of Czech Business list. As a fluent Italian speaker Dagmar is the head of KSB’s Italian desk and a member of the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the IBA corporate and M&A law committee and the Czech Bar Association’s permanent representative with the IBA.
Dagmar has authored numerous articles and is co-author of publications on mergers, squeeze-outs and liabilities of board members, as well as a Czech law chapter in the All China Lawyers’ Association Guidance of Laws of the Silk Road Economic Belt Countries for Chinese Investors. She is a regular speaker and panellist at international conferences, such as the IBA European and corporate private M&A conference and the IBA annual conference.
Dagmar has led KSB’s transaction team in many of the country’s most significant M&A deals, both national and international. Her recent M&A experience includes assistance to the Karlovarské Minerální Vody group, on the acquisition of PepsiCo Group’s assets in the Central European markets. As a result of the acquisition, KMV has become the largest distributor of non-alcoholic beverages in Central Europe. Dagmar’s long-term clients include Heidelberg Cement (and its subsidiary Ceskomoravsky cement), Heineken, Nibe, Slot Group and others.
Dagmar holds a doctoral degree in law from Charles University, Prague.
